Quality Policy

Our objectives are:

  • To develop a company culture that places as high a priority on quality of manufacturing as it does on the workmanship of installations.
  • To develop a company culture that ensures we operate efficiently within a well-designed quality management system.
  • To develop a company culture that provides on-going education of staff to improve the effectiveness of the business.

We aim to do this by:

  • Developing a company culture that places the utmost emphasis on the quality of service we provide to our customers.
  • Implementing and maintaining a focused and wholly professional and ethical approach in respect of our operations and activities.
  • On-going education of staff to improve the effectiveness of the Quality System enabling continual improvement of the company’s performance and services that impact on quality.
  • Maintaining a continual programme of investment in infrastructure and equipment designed to assist our operations and activities.

Dorwin Limited is committed to the attainment of these goals and the development of quality through the implementation of the International Standard BS.EN.ISO9001: 2000. Environmental Policy

The company is keenly aware of environmental issues and takes steps to minimise waste and to carefully dispose of any waste created.

In accordance with environmental legislation Dorwin is a registered carrier under the Control of Pollution (Amendment) Act 1989.

We actively support the PVC Industry Efforts leading to Vinyl 2010.

Where re-cycling of materials or packaging is possible we seek to achieve this while continually monitoring and seeking to reduce energy costs.

Equal Oppertunity Policy

The company recognises the disadvantages and oppression suffered by particular individuals and groups of people within our society. It also recognises its statuary responsibility under the race relations act 1976.

In accordance with legislation Dorwin affirms its opposition to the disadvantages and oppression experienced by ethnic minorities, non-Caucasians, disabled, lesbians and gays, the homeless and mentally handicapped persons. We also strongly oppose any discrimination on the grounds of sex and age.

Through the promotion of our policy we seek to redress the balance of these and any other forms of oppression. Through our employment policy we will reflect our commitment to eliminating these forms of disadvantages.

For those disadvantaged through lack of opportunity for education we seek to encourage all staff, irrespective of their abilities, to follow educational programmes which may be of benefit to their career or lifestyle.

The aim of our policy is to ensure that:

  1. All job applicants, employees, contractors, customers and any other persons we may come into contact with during our daily activities are treated fairly and equally.
  2. We ensure that all equal opportunity matters are reviewed and aligned with our training policy and our legal and contractual commitments.
  3. As part of this policy it is clearly understood that Dorwin will not accept the presence of offensive racist or pornographic material on any physical Dorwin site, vehicle or computer storage or any other form of storage or communications media.
